Acupuncture:

The insertion of fine, disposable, sterile needles into specific points located along the traditional Energy Channels of the body. Needles may be retained for up to 20 minutes. Acupuncture points act like gateways that access the body's energy system via the Channels. Acu-point locations have been shown to have a higher density of blood vessels, and a higher density of nerve endings, making them much more reactive and sensitive to treatment than non-acupuncture points.

Acupuncture noticeably improves well-being while treating acute, degenerative, and chronic conditions in people of all ages. Often used for pain relief, Acupuncture has been proven to stimulate the release of endorphins and enkephalins - the body's own natural pain-killing chemicals.
